The essentials
We only process the data needed to run Kamvara. There are no advertising or analytics trackers, no third-party fonts or images and no sharing for advertising purposes.
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Name and seat of the hosting provider. When you visit, technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser) is processed in log files to provide the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Logs are deleted after number days. A data processing agreement is in place with the provider.
Storage in your browser
Kamvara currently stores your settings and work data in your browser (local storage and IndexedDB) plus a session cookie so you stay signed in. This is strictly necessary for the service you requested (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG) and does not require consent. You can remove the data at any time via your browser or by deleting your account.
Account and trial
For your account we process your name, company name, email address, an unreadably stored password and details of your plan and trial. The legal basis is the performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Contact by email
If you write to us, we process your details to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed.
Your team’s data
The data you keep in Kamvara about employees, customers and contracts is processed solely on your behalf (Art. 28 GDPR); your business remains the controller. You can get the data processing agreement where, e.g. in the settings or on request.
No trackers, no third-party content
We do not use analytics or marketing services. Fonts and images are served from our own server – no data is sent to third parties when you visit.
Retention
We keep data only as long as needed for its purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations (for example under commercial and tax law). When you delete your account, the associated data is removed.
Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability (Art. 15–20 GDPR) and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21 GDPR). You can also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), for example competent supervisory authority.
Changes
We update this privacy policy whenever the service changes – for example when the data moves to our servers. The version published here applies.
